Remote Control Cards

Remote Control Visa® Debit and Credit Cards is a quick, safe and convenient way to turn your Visa Debit or Credit Card on and off and protect it from unauthorized use. Simply log in to the MembersFirst Mobile app from your mobile device and select Remote Control Cards from the menu. Select any of your active cards and choose from the options – Disabled, Lost or Stolen. Turn this feature on and off as you travel or if you temporarily misplace your card.

Remote Control Card Options

Disabled – Places a temporary block on your card. Transactions will be denied until you reactivate your card. You may reactivate your card at any time in the mobile app.

Lost – Places a permanent block on your card and may not be changed through the mobile app. All future transactions will be declined, and your card will be captured if presented. You will need to contact the credit union for a replacement card.

Stolen – Places a permanent block on your card and may not be changed through the mobile app. All future transactions will be declined, and your card will be captured if presented. You will need to contact the credit union for a replacement card.

Please note, in the event of a temporary interruption in online banking and mobile services, access to this feature will not be available and could result in your inability to use your card.
